Start a consultation
- On the lawyer's profile page, tap Send Message (if you're not logged in, you'll be asked to log in first)
- Describe your situation in the Message to lawyer (ข้อความถึงทนาย) box, then tap Send message to lawyer (ส่งข้อความถึงทนาย)
- A chat room with that lawyer opens
An initial consultation by chat is free of charge. If you need the lawyer to do further work, they will quote a price in the chat
In the chat room
- Details (รายละเอียด) — case information and a summary of fees
- Document Vault — upload and view files shared with the lawyer, such as contracts, evidence, or photos
Quotation and engagement contract
Once you reach an agreement, the lawyer sends 2 documents into the chat.
- 📄 New quotation (เอกสารใบเสนอราคาใหม่) — states the subject and the total, which may be a single payment or split into installments. Tap 📄 View quotation details (เปิดดูรายละเอียดใบเสนอราคา) to see the details
- 📄 Draft lawyer engagement contract (ร่างสัญญาจ้างทนายความ) — tap 📄 View contract details (เปิดดูรายละเอียดสัญญา) to read the scope of work, fees, and terms
- Read the quotation and contract in full
- If you agree, tap Click to sign (คลิกเพื่อเซ็นชื่อ) and draw your signature
- Transfer the fee following the steps in Pay a lawyer's fees
The contract takes full effect once the lawyer confirms receiving the first installment.
Closing the case and rating
When the work is done, the lawyer sends a summary and closes the case. You'll get an email that the case is closed, with a link to rate it, and the chat room shows a Rate the service (ให้คะแนนบริการ) card where you pick a rating and tap Submit review (ส่งรีวิว). Your review helps other clients choose a lawyer more easily.
If the lawyer's final fee is higher than originally agreed, you'll first get a request to pay the difference. See Additional fees
