Lawslane does not receive or hold lawyers' fees. You transfer directly to the lawyer's account. Lawslane takes no fee from this amount, and there is no escrow or refund through the platform
How to pay
- In the chat room, tap 💳 View the lawyer's account to transfer directly (💳 ดูบัญชีทนายเพื่อโอนโดยตรง), or the Transfer ฿… (โอน ฿…) button on the item to be paid
- The Transfer fees directly to the lawyer (โอนค่าบริการให้ทนายโดยตรง) page shows the lawyer's bank, Account Number (tap to copy), and Account Name. The Summary (สรุปรายการ) on the side shows the Amount to transfer (ยอดที่ต้องโอน)
- Transfer from your banking app. Always check that the account name matches your lawyer before transferring
- Return to the same page, attach a photo of the transfer slip (optional), and add a note to the lawyer if needed, such as which account name you sent from and at what time
- Tap Notify the lawyer of transfer (แจ้งทนายว่าโอนแล้ว)
Reporting a transfer does not complete the payment. The lawyer must first check the amount in their own account, then tap Confirm payment received (ยืนยันได้รับเงิน).
Statuses you'll see

If the fee is split into installments, pay each one and wait for the lawyer to confirm it, one at a time.
Additional fees
If, when closing the case, the lawyer sets a final fee higher than originally agreed, you'll get a request to pay the difference (by email and in the chat room). The case isn't closed at this step. In the Fees to transfer to the lawyer (ค่าบริการที่ต้องโอนให้ทนาย) card on the side of the chat room, tap the Transfer ฿… (โอน ฿…) button for that item, then transfer and report it the same way as above.
If the lawyer has no account details yet
If the payment page says the lawyer hasn't entered payout account details, ask the lawyer in the chat room how to pay, and make sure the account name really belongs to that lawyer.
Cancelling a case and refunds
The fees are held by the lawyer directly. If you cancel a case and want a refund, agree on it with the lawyer directly. If there's a problem, use the Report an Issue (รายงานปัญหา) form in the Help Center and include the case number, and the team will help coordinate.
