Avoid scams
- Always check the account name before transferring. Lawyer fees must be transferred to an account in that lawyer's name. Interpreter fees are transferred only to the Lawslane account shown in the payment link
- Check a lawyer's license status on the Verify Lawyer page
- The Lawslane team never asks for your password, OTP code, or card details by chat, phone, or email
- In Cap & Deal, send the PIN through a different channel from the link, and never share your OTP code with anyone
Your data
- Lawyers' identity documents, such as ID cards and licenses, are stored privately and never shown on public pages
- Files in a case's document library can only be opened by people in the case, or by people who received a share link from the lawyer
- Read the details in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, change your password immediately, then notify the team.
